Looks like the sort of player we all knew we lacked when we lost Nicholson and Bateman, and replaced only with Russell. It seems to be a pre-set plan to make this sort of signing mid-season.
I've not been massively impressed with Stone yet - one or two good touches in matches but you forget he is there for long periods.
