Yeah, I'm a bit surprised we haven't offered him another contract, especially with Griff leaving. I like what he's done to change his game to suit what the team needed, plus also himself. He's put on some good size and is a really solid SL backrower. Just thinking, it's not as if we've got a load of backrowers at the Club, unless we're bringing someone in that we don't know about. He's gonna be behind, Stourton, Vagana, Seth and Cam Scott, so 4 atm, and we obviously have Pitts and Jazz fighting for that 13 shirt, with also Cozza if he stays. For me, he'd definitely be worth a squad place, like he has this year, and he wouldn't cost a fortune. 


It's obvious he wanted to stay, especially as he's just bought a house around here, so you can't even put it down to wanting more game time. Saying that, one of the new teams will probably be able to provide him with a starting 17 spot, hopefully York, as it's not too far away, and he knows Mash. 
I know some people won't be happy about this, but I suppose you can't keep everyone, and we've got to trust the coaching staff, it's not as if they're not signing our young players to long contracts etc..

I’m also really surprised by letting Croft go. He’s got more development in him and I think is a stronger option than Scott who’s been disappointing. Trin need a big squad and he’s a solid second rower who could cover centre…

Agree and my main concern is that Scott as gone back in the ,Know it is because of Halls injury, but it did not work at beginning of season,
